The star turned 50!
It is no secret that Sofia Vergara loves getting glammed up for an exciting occasion - and on Sunday she did just that when she stepped out to celebrate her 50th birthday.

The America's Got Talent host looked stunning in a mid-length lemon dress as she partied the night away with her lookalike niece Claudia Vergara and son Manolo, as well as other close friends and family.

Captioning the first of many posts from the epic evening, the Modern Family actress wrote: "Birthday dinner," alongside balloon, cake and heart emojis. In the snap, she and Claudia can be seen posing at the table alongside another party guest.

A second snap saw the 50-year-old front and centre of a fabulous group shot. Captioning the image, Sofia wrote: "Thank u for coming!! #50 #family."

A third post saw niece Claudia, who matched her actress aunty with lemons on her dress, dancing away with the birthday girl, who is holding a matching yellow Chanel bag.
Other photos from the lavish bash saw the mother-of-one pose in more group shots, including one which showed off a very impressive birthday cake in the shape of a Chanel handbag.
Another post featured an 'after party' video featuring Sofia's chihuahua Bubbles, who also celebrated her ninth birthday at the weekend.
The star's birthday cake was truly epic
In the adorable video, Sofia could be seen feeding her pup back at her stunning LA home, still in her fabulous party dress but without her shoes. She wrote, "El after party," on the clip.
Friends and fans of the star flooded the comments of the photos with their wishes.
